Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer. Preferred locations include Birmingham, Charlotte, Nashville, and Atlanta. Project Overview: This team is building a new small business digital account opening platform for the Company, covering both deposit and credit products (e.g., loans, credit cards, leases). The work is focused on modern software delivery practices-not legacy approaches. In this role, you will join a team that is scaling from 2 members to 7, helping design and implement modern, cloud-native solutions with a strong emphasis on automation, testing, observability, and orchestration over domain expertise. Responsibilities: * Senior Cloud Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy software solutions for small business digital account fulfillment (deposit and credit) * Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automating build, deployment, and artifact management processes * Instrument code for observability, leveraging telemetry and monitoring platforms to track key system metrics * Implement robust automated testing practices, embedding testing into the development lifecycle * Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to architectural discussions and sprint deliverables * As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will leverage AWS services to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions * Work with both .NET and Node.js services, integrating with SQL and NoSQL databases
