Job Description: Key Job Responsibilities + Collaborate to build and maintain multi-year technical domain roadmaps that align with the technical direction of the organization and company. + Develop automation and processes to quickly and rapidly deploy, manage, configure, and scale cloud-based systems and stacks. + Partner with the application team to ensure streamlined deployment of applications and resources on infrastructure platforms and to ensure cloud solutions meet business and technical requirements. + Lead Proof-of-Concept work to evaluate platforms and capabilities. + Work with IT Infrastructure architecture standards to ensure that the IT organization's solutions are built within a consistent framework. + Lead design, implement, plan, manage, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures in Azure and AWS + Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation. + Implement and manage cloud governance, cost optimization, identity/access management, and security controls. + Drive automation and process improvements across the cloud ecosystem. Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. + Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams + Lead and work on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job + 10+ years of experience in a cloud engineering and/or cloud architect roles. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities + Expert level of knowledge in AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda), Azure (VMs, Functions, App Services); strong focus on cost optimization, scaling, and HA designs. + Expert level in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, along with automation scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash. + Skilled in configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef, with expertise in monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Datadog. + Conducted tuning and load testing to ensure peak performance across cloud-native and hybrid workloads. + Provided cross-functional teams with mentorship on infrastructure best practices, solution architecture, and DevOps strategies. + Expert level of understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration, preferably within AWS EKS. + Expert level of compute, storage, network engineering, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) fundamentals with fluency in enterprise systems and protocols. + Broad exposure to management information systems and enterprise support workflows ensuring infrastructure aligns with IT service management goals. + Operates in high-availability, cloud-centric environments where infrastructure health, performance metrics, and cost discipline are prioritized. + Thrives on solving complex problems and building future-ready, automated infrastructure ecosystems Benefits That Drive Your SuccessGerber offers the comprehensive benefits you expect from an industry leader, including: + Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) plans + 2 weeks of Paid Parental Leave for Full time Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week + 6 paid holidays annually + Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental & Vision Insurance effective Day 1 + 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match + Employer Paid Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance + Additional Voluntary Life Insurance + Continuing Education Opportunities + Free Prescription or Non-Prescription Safety Glasses annually + Annual Voluntary Uniform Stipend Gerber Collision & Glass is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace. Compensation Details: $160,000 - $175,000 / Year Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
