What you’ll do• Take the initiative to improve and create processes in the team as well as interaction with other teams/departments
• Lead the design/development of complex custom solutions
• Execution of infrastructure deployments for CI/CD pipelines
• Maintaining the performance and security of systems through the DevOps toolkit
• Establish and leads the constant evolution towards Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), through automation of scripts and specific tools/software
• Carrying out the assessment of infrastructure requirements, design and the creation of environments using containers or virtualization in public or private Cloud
• Using Jira for managing, taking over and solving tasks
• Using Confluence and Git to document projects and procedures
• Ensuring connectivity between the public and private Cloud/On Prem
• Lead the necessary scale up and scale down activities to achieve the balance between the needs of the applications and the capacity of the infrastructure
• Development of infrastructure monitoring and mechanisms for automating alerts
• Takes the initiative for the development and maintenance of application monitoring through APIs, log parsers
• Development and maintenance of dashboards designed for performance monitorin
• On-call activities for incidents
• Application of Security policies according to Vodafone standards and best practices
• Interacts with external partners to identify the best solutions
• Acquire and respect the Internal Regulation, internal policies and procedures, Vodafone Group's Code of Conduct, "Policy Compliance in Vodafone" policy - an integral part of the Internal Regulation
• At the request of the hierarchical superior, performs other tasks, which are directly related to the main responsibilities detailed above
• Participate in all mandatory internal courses communicated by the Employer and all professional training programs/courses established and communicated by the Employer
• Establish, together with the direct manager, individual and/or group objectives, both professional and personal development, and inserts them into the Employer's specific online system.
Who you are• Linux fundamentals (LAMP, networking, standard services)
• Scripting (Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Container management and orchestration through Docker, Kubernetes
• Implementation tools: Terraform, Chef, Ansible
• Understanding of web application architectures and standard knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Performance monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, APM
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and microservices concepts
• Public Cloud skills
• The security of the concepts and practices of maintenance of infrastructure environments.
