Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advisory Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and Python development. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who excels in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. The Advisory Architect will lead end-to-end solutioning efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide the technical direction of cloud-native applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions using AWS services and Python. Architect scalable, secure, and resilient systems aligned with business and technical requirements. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to define architecture standards and best practices. Develop reusable components, frameworks, and automation scripts to accelerate delivery. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of Python-based applications. Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and mentor junior developers and architects. Translate complex business needs into technical solutions and present architecture to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards in cloud environments. Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and runbooks for implemented solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in Python. 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions on AWS. Proven experience in solution design, implementation, and technical leadership. Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, and networking. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation), and containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS). Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification. Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, Go) is a plus. Knowledge of data engineering, analytics, or machine learning frameworks.
