JOB OPPORTUNITY Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst Cancer InstituteHartford HealthCare Corporation HHC seeks a full time Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst Cancer Institute The Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst Functions as the primary administrator to provide data analytics and quality measurement solutions for the HHC Cancer Institute in the areas of quality and effectiveness in Oncology clinical quality measurement regulatory measures operational and quality improvement activities Participates in teams to design develop test and provide solutions to maximize quality and data efficiencies in Oncology information systems Provides ongoing support to enhance Oncology information systems that integrate throughout HHC to provide clinical and business solutions and improve the ability to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Oncology departmentrsquos service delivery and patient care Responsible for problem analysis solution proposal and developing information and measurement solutions such as data mining analyzing and accessing organizing formatting and presenting data for the purposes of supporting HHCrsquos Cancer Institute initiatives and clinical quality of care measures Works with Cancer Institute Director of Quality clinicians and operations to understand oncology data assess patterns and integrity in the data define metrics and designbuildsupport analytics and reporting dashboards Collaborates with CareConnect and Information Services teams to support department information systems across the systems life cycle by investigating requirements planning facilitating testing updates and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory standards Facilitates education and training of staff in system applications supports report production to ensure requests are being met may recognize abnormal reporting patterns and facilitate corrective action where required and within scope of knowledge and expertise Must work on site at Retreat Avenue
