Senior Client Executive for Nordic Energy team

We are looking for a talented professional to join our successful Energy team at MarshMcLennan in Oslo.

Our Nordic Marine & Energy Practice manages a diverse portfolio of clients, including renewable energy companies, multinational oil firms, midstream/downstream operators, mobile rig contractors other key players in the oilfield services sector. We are known for delivering exceptional service and performance, driven by a collaborative culture that supports the development of our colleagues.

This role offers stimulating opportunities to work on some of the largest accounts in the Nordic region. Responsibilities include coordinating client renewals and placements, developing tailored strategies, building strong regional relationships, and contributing to team initiatives and growth within the Energy Sector.

We are seeking an individual with a background in energy insurance to lead client engagement, drive market initiatives, and support regional growth.

We will count on you to:

Analyze risks and provide solutions for clients’ needs.Respond to client day to day queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly to develop strong client relationships.Assemble and deliver renewal strategies for clients coordinating with the wider Energy team.Demonstrate awareness of market conditions to provide informed advice to clients including conducting market negotiations.Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance markets to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.Working on and delivering presentations and tender reports for clients and prospects.

What you need to have: 

Energy Insurance background required and preferably within upstream energy10 years’ experience or more in the insurance market and/or in the energy and/or marine insurance industryExperience of managing a portfolio of energy client accounts.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
