Senior Client Associate
Robert Half Finance & Accounting
Description
A boutique, fast-growing Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm is seeking an exceptional Senior Client Service Associate to join its client service leadership track. This firm partners exclusively with a select group of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, founders, and elite investors, providing fully customized, single-family-office-style services. Its integrated approach spans wealth strategy, investment management, family office administration, and financial operations.
Unlike typical multi-family offices, this firm does not scale by adding more clients—it deepens relationships with a small, select group, building tailored solutions that integrate investment strategy, after-tax planning, and operational infrastructure. This role sits at the center of that model, bridging operational excellence with white-glove relationship management for some of the most sophisticated clients in the world.
The Role
The Senior Client Service Associate will own critical aspects of the client experience—handling investment onboarding, wire processing, alternative investment subscriptions, philanthropic entity administration, tax workflow coordination, and investment reporting. This is a highly visible position, requiring precision, discretion, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of operational sharpness, people-savviness, and the unteachable traits that thrive in this environment: entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset, maturity, intellectual curiosity, and team orientation.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Operations
+ Manage end-to-end onboarding of new clients, including custodial setup, asset transitions, entity chart creation, and KYC documentation.
+ Coordinate wires, capital calls, funding requests, and other money movements.
+ Oversee subscription/redemption processes for alternative investments.
+ Handle operational needs for client-run philanthropic entities.
+ Review and approve performance and investment reports for accuracy.
Workflow & Relationship Management
+ Partner closely with client service leadership to quarterback service initiatives.
+ Liaise with clients, their internal teams, and allied professionals to deliver an exceptional experience.
+ Oversee tax administration workflows, coordinating with third-party accountants and bookkeepers.
+ Maintain CRM data integrity and organize client files for easy team access.
+ Identify process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
+ Work with a highly selective client base of influential and sophisticated individuals.
+ Be part of a stable, collaborative, and low-turnover team.
+ 100% remote work model, with an optional office for those who want in-person collaboration.
+ Quarterly offsites that combine productivity with team-building.
+ Culture centered on building something meaningful—not on titles.
+ Health, dental, and vision insurance (100% employer paid for employees, partial coverage for dependents).
+ Paid parental leave.
+ 401(k) with employer match.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ 3–5+ years of client service experience in a white-glove wealth management, family office, RIA, or UHNW environment.
+ Experience working directly with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their advisors.
+ Familiarity with tools such as Addepar (ideal), Salesforce, and Asana.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field—or equivalent industry experience.
+ Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, both client-facing and internal.
+ Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ideal Candidate Traits
+ Entrepreneurial, growth-minded, and mature in approach.
+ Operationally precise and confident in high-stakes environments.
+ Curious, resourceful, and eager to solve complex challenges.
+ Able to interact with high-profile clients with discretion and professionalism.
+ Thrives in a team-oriented, idea-sharing culture.
