We are seeking a talented individual to join our Public Sector team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Perth. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Triage all new claims received daily and distribute them according to established processes and protocolsUndertake technical claims administration including gathering information, claim investigation and determination, drafting correspondence, instructing and managing external legal providers when necessary, calculating settlements and processing payments with the support of the General Claims ManagerAppearing on behalf of local governments in minor case claims when necessaryIdentify and pursue opportunities for risk advice and timely claim resolution to achieve effective financial outcomesBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide onsite client servicing as required

What you need to have:

Confident communication and professional interpersonal skillsExperience in claims consulting or related claims management rolesAbility to work effectively within a team environmentSkills in data analysis and claims managementAdvocacy and negotiating skills
