Wood has been awarded an onshore project to support an international client operation by providing engineering services plus project management, supply chain, construction, commissioning, EPC management support both within Iraq and Dubai offices. The vision of this contract is to enhance the production by delivering greenfield and brownfield modification projects that include new installations as well as a series of modifications to the existing facilities. A team of engineers and designers based in Dubai and Basra supports in execution of these projects.

Celebrating long service provides an opportunity for the business to demonstrate their appreciation of the hard work, dedication and many years' service of our employees at 5-year service milestones Key objectives Specialist designer in design and detailing of civil and structural works of oil and gas projects Must have hands-on experience in concrete, structural steel, underground drainage and layout drawing preparation for EPC and FEED projects Modelling experience in SP3D and experience in Navisworks / SPR platform is a must. PDS/PDMS is optional Knowledge in specification and design basis Ensure that works comply with the American codes and standards Experience on preparation of MTO through XL spreadsheet will be a plus point Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance Carry out work in accordance with Wood and project health, safety, environmental and quality systems Maintain the required technical quality of work Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the change control process Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed schedule Capable of working in brownfield scopes with understanding of other discipline interfaces Keep up to date with technical developments Review, prepare, check work output of discipline assigned personnel Prepare estimates and assist in their review Maintain good communication with the team and client Maintain discipline filing system Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?

Expected:
