Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract, supporting Mining 
Sustaining Capital projects across Australia’s East Coast. You will work on projects for major clients and select 
gold/copper operations. This role involves delivering small-to-medium brownfields projects from concept through detailed 
design and construction support.

What you’ll do
• Lead civil engineering design for sustaining capital and brownfields projects.
• Prepare and review designs for drainage, earthworks, and site infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical support during construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.

What you’ll need to have
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally in mining or heavy industrial brownfields environments.
• Proven track record delivering sustaining capital or small-to-medium brownfields projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software (12D preferred) and drainage/earthworks modelling tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
