What You’ll Do:

Recommend strategic operational plans and assess carrier performance against contractual obligations, report on key metrics and exceptions to Operations

Support SOX audit and compliance activities, including documentation and record retention, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards on behalf of TJXC Logistics

Apply specialized expertise to maintain lane layer integrity by reviewing carrier coverage and advising on gaps in rate or resource availability

Identify, resolve, and escalate issues related to rate, capacity, and transit data; leverage prior experience to address nonstandard scenarios and discrepancies

Ensure all contractual documentation—including required signatories and AAS compliance—is complete and validated prior to carrier or 3PL onboarding

Collaborate with the Freight Payment team to provide accurate and timely carrier rate data; ensure fulfillment of contractual payment obligations and support third-party freight audit accuracy

Act as the primary escalation point for rate structure discrepancies between carriers/3PLs, GS&P, and Operations; facilitate resolution and alignment

Lead the design and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and standardized processes across carrier networks to drive cost efficiency and leverage market intelligence

Maintain and publish carrier/3PL labour contract data; proactively communicate potential operational risks or issues to the Operations team in a timely manner

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of carrier operations with broader logistics strategies and business goals

Utilize data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and enhance carrier performance management frameworks

Champion process excellence by identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and scalability across carrier-related workflows

About You:

Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations

Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline is an asset, though not required

Solid understanding of logistics carrier contracts, including key terms and conditions

Strong research and analytical capabilities; adept at identifying issues, investigating discrepancies, and preparing thoughtful responses tailored to audience needs

Proficient in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel) with the ability to conduct detailed reporting and analysis, and interpret business assumptions and outcomes

Advanced business analytics skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders

Exceptional communication skills to convey logistics-related challenges and opportunities to cross-functional teams

Strong problem-solving mindset: able to systematically identify risks and recommend practical, data-informed solutions

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, handle detailed tasks independently, and perform effectively under time-sensitive conditions

Salary Range: $74,752.50-$104,653.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
