C.H. Robinson is hiring a Senior Carrier Accounts Payable Representative. In this role, you will work directly with our partners and take incoming calls from C.H. Robinson partners, as assigned. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while leveraging strong communication and critical thinking skills to resolve open direct payables questions. You will use your systems knowledge to navigate C.H. Robinson’s core systems with ease and educate partners and branch representatives on best practices to ensure timely payment releases.
This position requires the ability to work well under pressure, manage deadlines within specific timeframes, and operate in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
Work Model: Hybrid for candidates based in Eden Prairie, MN; fully remote for candidates located in Iowa
Schedule (Hybrid – MN only): 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office (Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Central Time)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Leverage system functionality and established processes to resolve daily issues while meeting defined quality and error rate guidelines
Release direct payments to partners in accordance with required procedures and controls
Analyze data and utilize critical thinking to resolve complex problems, paperwork issues, and open direct payables questions
Exercise sound judgment when making decisions and escalate complex matters to senior team members or leadership as appropriate
Adhere to established procedures, quality standards, and customer-provided standard operating procedures
Identify trends and contribute ideas for process improvements with a broader understanding of business impact
Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners through timely, clear, and professional communication
Manage high-volume incoming calls, answer partner questions, and accurately log call details and data
Collaborate with team members by providing back-up support and coaching less experienced colleagues
Continue developing direct payables knowledge, systems expertise, and overall business acumen while performing additional assigned responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of data entry or related experience
Minimum of 2 years of strong customer service experience leveraging written and verbal communication skills
Ability to speak in both Spanish and English
Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
At least 1 year of experience using the Navisphere system
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range
$17.96 - $37.83The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
