Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including large-scale transportation and transit-related developments.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the civil and structural design for infrastructure and transit-related projects. Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Review contractor submissions and provide responses to design queries. Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and resolve construction issues related to C&S design.

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years’ design experience in infrastructure and civil engineering projects of similar scale and nature. Proven experience in the design of continuous multiple-span prestressed concrete bridges. Hands-on experience in the design of Civil Defence MRT Stations. Strong understanding of local and international design standards and codes (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, EN, LTA standards). Experience with modification works to existing rail transit structures is highly desirable. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution. Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent accreditation is preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS, or equivalent.
