Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to manage the planning, organization, and coordination of pack materials procurement operations in alignment with overall business goals. This role also supports the procurement department in analyzing and developing sourcing strategies, evaluating supplier options, and conducting major negotiations for both short- and long-term contracts.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegisters all opportunity evaluations, sourcing activities, and supplier codes in Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC) Sourcing system.
Secures all necessary pack materials, ensuring delivery according to specifications, on time, in full, and at the most competitive cost.
Provides accurate cost estimates and detailed requirements for processing purchase orders.
Receives and processes supplier invoices; organizes payment arrangements in a timely manner.
Prepares tenders and participates in negotiations to secure optimal supply terms for ABC and Heineken.
Builds and manages supplier relationships to achieve commercially beneficial solutions under appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Prepares supplier performance reports for ongoing assessment and improvement.
Ensures timely provision of accurate import documentation to enable smooth customs clearance and avoid delays or demurrage penalties.
Participates in New Product Innovation (NPI) initiatives to ensure smooth product launches and timely procurement of associated materials.
Education & ExperienceEducational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
Years of Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG industries.
Excellent command of the English language
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
