About the role…

We’re always on the lookout for great talent to join our Buying Teams. This would be a chance to collaborate with a passionate and creative team, contributing to category growth through strong commercial awareness, expert product knowledge and a sharp eye for trends to help shape a profitable and well-balanced range.

It would suit someone innovative, driven and energised by a fast-paced environment.

 

You will be…

Continuously reviewing the customer profile to develop the product accordingly, demonstrating brand and customer awarenessPlanning the range according to future trends that take into account range construction and pricing architecture, seasonal variationsWorking collaboratively with Merchandising and Design to build a customer focused, commercial and inspirational rangeLeading the department from a trend perspective to influence and educate Senior Management on key trends/itemsReviewing the range frequently with Merchandising to ensure product selection is commercial and reacting to salesResults orientated with the ability to realise further growth for the departmentRequired to occasionally travel across UK and Overseas to visit suppliers and attend trade fairs sourcing new yarns and shapes to build new and innovative ranges

Extensive experience and knowledge of womenswear, operating at an established/ senior level within a successful high street/premium retailerProven experience managing and developing a teamApproachable to your team and external partiesExcellent communication skills and supplier management Demonstrates passion and energy to be inspiring to others and deliver improved resultsSelf-motivated and engages those around usProactive, vibrant and spirited and rises to challengesRemains profit focused at all timesBuilds and maintains strong collaborative relationships Highly organised with the ability to plan ahead and have a flexible approach and be reactive when necessary
