Job Description

As a Global Category Buyer, you will play a key role in shaping Bosch’s global procurement strategy and securing supply continuity for innovative products worldwide.

Your contribution to something big:

Analyzing global spend and supply chain data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and cost optimizationDeveloping and implementing category and supplier strategies with a strong focus on value creation and sustainabilitySecuring supplier capacities for new and ramp-up projects by closely collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partnersProactively managing material shortages and supply risks by defining and executing effective mitigation strategiesDriving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, logistics, quality, and business units to ensure continuity of supplyManaging and influencing senior stakeholders up to General Purchasing level, communicating transparently and solution-orientedBuilding long-term, trust-based supplier relationships and leading negotiations at a global level

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: 

Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a comparable field

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management preferably in automotive industry or production. Experience in an international or global business environment is an advantage

Know-how:

Strong analytical skills with a structured, data-driven mindsetSolid understanding of supply chain processes, cost structures, and risk managementNegotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience are a plus

Languages:

Fluent in English (spoken and written) (mandatory)German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory

Working Style and Methods:
