Job Description

About the Role:


You'll play a key role in delivering an effective, customer-focused procurement function through category management, contract negotiation, and supplier performance. With a focus on value for money, sustainability, and legal compliance, you'll drive improvements that align with organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end tendering processes for complex procurement'sDevelop and implement category plans and KPIsManage key supplier relationships and contract performanceIdentify efficiency's and streamline procurement processesEnsure legal and regulatory compliance in all procurement activitiesAdvise stakeholders and support strategic procurement decisionsContribute to the development of procurement strategies and business cases

Essential Criteria:Honours degree in a relevant discipline or significant experience in procurement/category managementProven experience managing complex tenders and delivering value for moneyStrong contract management skills with a focus on continuous improvementKnowledge and experience with eProcurement systemsSolid understanding of public procurement regulations and associated risksExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
