As the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing components from
suppliers in order to assure timely delivery of parts to support production needs. In addition, the Senior Buyer is the communication and logistical link between Value Streams, Management, Master Scheduling and
Warehouse. Senior Buyer is also accountable for managing supplier accounts with significant spend. In
addition, Senior Buyer is expected to compile, interpret and analyze complex data in supporting commodity management team with supplier contracts.

Essential Job Functions:

Knowledge/Experience:
At least 5 years of working experience with purchasing practices, MRP, materials documentation and qualification, and purchasing under a LEAN manufacturing systemKnowledge of FDA and other regulatory compliance issues.Experience in procurement of electro-mechanical assembly related material: PCBs, ASICs, electrical components, connectors, etc. Also, experience with procurement of a wide range of both custom and off-the-shelf devices including custom machined parts and tooling, injection molded plastics, and cable assemblies.Experience with MRP systems and the interactions with BOMs and configuration management issues.Experience creating and using corporate processes for materials purchasing and handling in the Medical Device environment (FDA, ISO, CE, etc.).BA/BS a plus.Experience with Oracle.Skills/Abilities:
Excellent leadership and communication skills.Strong negotiating skills.Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, internet, etc.).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodationsSalary and Benefits:
$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr depending on experience (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
