Seeking a Business Systems Analyst 4 who is passionate about data and providing IT solutions. This role will be accountable for building data assets that align with supporting enterprise data needs spanning across policy admin system, billing admin system, commissions admin system, and enterprise data marts. This analyst will be accountable for building and delivering data assets needed for our P&C business.

This position is part of the overall Policy and Financial Services team. Responsible for collaborating with Information Systems teams and core Technology teams to create and improve solutions to deliver on the Kemper.

Position Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert for end-to-end financial data flow for policy, billing, commissions applications within Kemper IT.Propose and implement balance and controls to ensure IT Applications are operating without error.Drives analysis and cost benefits of business proposals from finance/accounting business partners. Research and develop functional design documents and align with technical design documents. Outline detailed application testing and support user acceptance testing. Identify and troubleshoot both business process inefficiencies and technical system issues; coordinate with development and QA teams to resolve problems.Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance needs.Support the development and maintenance of documentation, including business requirements, workflows, process maps, and training materials.


Position Qualifications:

8+ years of IT Data and Systems Analysis experience5+ years experience in relational databases. Postgres, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Oracle preferred.Technical Skills: SQL experience preferred2+ years’ experience with cloud data platform(s).Insurance data experience is required within the Property and Casualty business.        Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Datahub experience with data model and business rules preferred.Accounting/Financial background, mindsetDemonstrated business acumen and ability to understand strategic and operational impacts.Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.Proven experience troubleshooting business and technical I.T. issues in a collaborative environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Education equivalent to a college degree in computer science, finance, accounting or related field, or the equivalent in related work experienceSponsorship is not offered for this position.

Location is hybrid: the selected candidate will be required to complete six weeks of training in office . post training the employee will transition to a hybrid work schedule which will require weekly reporting to our Downers Grove locations.

Compensation for this role is $86,200 - $143,600.
