Senior Business / System Analyst
Aon sp. z o.o. Senior Business/System Analyst This role will provide the candidate an opportunity to work as part of a global Business Analyst group spanning multiple Agile Product Delivery teams. Specifically, this role is focused on our new global Claims Management product – delivering a web-based solution that supports global claims handling teams to manage claims for commercial clients, from notification of loss through to settlement including business intelligence and client advocacy. The solution is being developed on an industry-leading 3rd party low-code platform and integrated into our Commercial Risk ecosystem featuring multiple applications. The role’s emphasis lies with eliciting business requirements and specifying functional and technical requirements for the platform. What the day will look like Day-to-day responsibilities include: + Performing assessment and analysis of new business requirements, defining their functional and technical impact within our claims management system and broader ecosystem architecture. + Actively engaging in the SDLC from defining functional requirements, through UX/UI design to specifying data model and integrations design. Documenting functional and technical requirements (wherever applicable) using common modelling techniques to establish common understanding of requirements within the team. + Active participation in Agile ceremonies to refine requirements, share the feedback on the development process and engage stakeholders. + Serving as a liaison between and escalation point for product owner, architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders, sharing system and domain knowledge , promoting alignment across the ecosystem. + Taking responsibility for enabling the development team to deliver value for the daily operations of the business through building a scalable solution. Skills and experience that will lead to success + 7+ years of experience in a Business / System Analyst or similar role, preferably with a focus on commercial risk insurance, claims management systems or finance sector. Proven expertise in supporting Agile Scrum delivery teams by translating business needs into technical system requirements. Proficiency in requirements modeling (especially UML), including process and data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams and designing business logic. + Familiarity with basic UX/UI design principles and experience in crafting of wireframes/prototypes. + Practical knowledge of REST and SOAP, integration patterns and web service design + Solid data literacy, including hands-on experience with querying databases, data modelling, mapping and analysis to support system functionalities + Familiarity with configuring and delivering solutions on workflow or low-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, UiPath, Power Automate) is a plus. + College degree - Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline are preferred.
