Senior Business Planning Analyst

Spectrum is seeking a skilled Senior Business Planning Analyst to coordinate and monitor budgets, re-forecast operating expenses, and deliver complex financial analyses. Utilizing your expertise in financial principles, you will help shape present and future financial performance while driving impactful business decisions.


How You’ll Make an Impact   

Prepare and review comprehensive reports and analyses to support financial objectivesPerform data trend analysis on operational budget spend to help teams meet key performance indicatorsBuild and deploy financial models to forecast results and support strategic planningUtilize insights to identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities across SpectrumCreate and update operating expense reforecasts to ensure financial accuracyCoordinate variance analysis and reporting for operating expensesConduct monthly reviews of financial statements to pinpoint trends and performance driversAnalyze, educate and recommend updates to accounting operations policies and proceduresDrive process improvements and implement best practices in forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, including automation where possiblePartner with functional leaders to identify and pursue cost-saving initiatives across the business

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Experience   

5+ years of business planning/financial analysis or related experience
