Senior Business Operations Specialist (Army Knowledge Management Systems)
**Job Description** BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic self motivated individual, with business operations experience, to join our team as a Senior Business Operations Specialist providing support to the United States Army Europe-Africa's (USAREUR) with services for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining a knowledge management framework to provide end-users access to the SSMART TO s intellectual capital. The Senior Business Operations Specialist will work in coordination with the Knowledge Management Lead to promote knowledge sharing between information users by managing correspondence, workflow, and content through the SSMARTT TO. Collect structured and unstructured data from both new and legacy systems (e.g., financial, operational, and manpower) and conduct appropriate analysis to support timely and accurate decision making by USG and military senior leaders. The Senior Business Operations Specialist will streamline and unite the Government s KM to receive three types of critical information: current status or maintenance; decision-focused information; and warnings to alert potential future challenges. Deliver, operate, and maintain all KM capabilities at scale for processes, procedures, and tools to create, receive, validate, maintain, catalog, store, update, and retrieve organizational information at a speed to leverage combined planning effectively, while maintaining appropriate security and cybersecurity requirements. Additionally, the Senior Business Operations Specialist may lead aspects of the program solution to achieve contract objectives, in coordination with the Program Manager, and in support of DoD and program objectives. Define the overall solution approach used to meet the Systems Engineering Lifecycle requirements. Support the digital transformation and modernization of the Army s underlying network and computer infrastructure (e.g., cloud, software, AI/data) to improve data access and sharing environments and streamline software development tools and services across multiple DoD platforms. This position will be hybrid. Work locations may include Sterling, VA; Rockville, MD; Mount Laurel, NJ; Orlando, FL; Huntsville, AL. Other major BAE Systems work locations may also be considered. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Minimum education and years of experience required: 12 Years with HS 10 Years with AA 8 Years with BS 6 Years with MS 4 Years with PhD Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience May substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree. Relevant experience is job-related work that provides the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform in the role. Working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Regulations. Experience to include USAEUR business operations. Previous experience supporting the United States Army Europe-Africa s (USAREUR-AF) as a business operations specialist associated with data and computing modernization efforts. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118747 - $201870 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
