Senior Business Manager

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** · Develop excellent relationships and act as a resource for business leaders to help create transparency, improve performance and deliver on goals · Analyze market trends and financial data to inform business decisions · Support post-acquisition integration efforts by aligning operational processes, systems, and teams to ensure seamless onboarding of acquired businesses · Monitor operating results, provide senior management with high-level reports, ad-hoc analysis, and interpretation of performance · Prepare Management Reporting packages and presentations for senior management · Work closely with Corporate Finance and Shared Service organizations, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes in compliance with policies and reporting requirements · Provide financial planning, capital planning, reporting and forecasting for business lines · Assist in developing and driving strategic planning and execution to support business growth and operational excellence · Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability · Champion continuous improvement and innovation across business units **What Are We Looking For** · Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting with 10-15 years financial/business analysis experience · Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven mindset · Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and initiative, capable of independently driving projects and delivering results in a dynamic environment · Deep understanding of business operations, financial principles, and markets · Skilled in analyzing and interpreting P&L statements, with the ability to clearly explain financial performance drivers and variances to senior management and business leaders · Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities, while being detail-oriented and highly organized · Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities · Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experienced in financial systems and reporting tools (SAP a plus) · Experienced in crafting visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate key messages and guide stakeholders through a clear, strategic narrative. Work Environment This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. It is primarily in a professional office setting.
