**What you’ll be doing**
As part of CIBC’s Personal Lending team, you’ll support the Regulatory Programs group, which is responsible for regulatory compliance, policy maintenance, litigation, deficiency management, remediation, breach reporting, and control development for our personal mortgage and secured lending products. As a Senior Business Management Specialist, you’ll lead and coach multiple teams in the adoption of Agile and Kanban principles, helping to organize, report, and deliver complex initiatives. You’ll facilitate standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions, and mentor team members on best practices to help drive transformation to Agile ways of working. You’ll be responsible for executive reporting, analyzing processes for improvement opportunities, and ensuring that deliverables are achieved on time and within budget by proactively removing obstacles and finding opportunities for automation. Your work will promote transparency and effective communication across the department, and you’ll collaborate with partners in Risk, Operations, Technology, Product, Compliance, and Audit.

**How you’ll succeed**
+ **Lead and coach teams -** Guide Regulatory Programs teams through the adoption and implementation of Agile and Kanban methodologies, ensuring best practices are understood and embedded.
+ **Facilitate Agile activities -** Organize and run daily standups, retrospective meetings, and backlog refinement sessions for multiple teams.
+ **Drive process improvement -** Analyze current business processes, identify opportunities for optimization and/or automation, and support teams in implementing changes that maximize effectiveness.
+ **Deliver effective reporting and operational tasks -** Prepare and issue monthly executive reports, communicating key objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization.
+ **Mitigate challenges -** Proactively identify and resolve challenges or blockers to help teams deliver on objectives and commitments within established timelines and budgets.
+ **Promote organizational transparency -** Facilitate open communication and learning across teams and business partners, ensuring alignment with our department’s strategy and with CIBC’s mission, vision, and values.
**Who you are**
+ **You can demonstrate experience in** applying Agile, Scrum, and Kanban principles in a business or technology environment. You’re proficient in Agile/Kanban tools such as Jira and have a track record of leading teams through change and process improvement initiatives.
+ **You can demonstrate experience in** Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
