TITLE: Senior Business Insights Developer
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES: Develop and maintain SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Present solutions that are consistent with the architecture and application design.
Design system architecture, data model, information flow, input and output configuration, and reports.
Design, implement, and maintain data products such as dashboards, reports, and ETL pipelines.
Work within an Agile scrum team to design, develop, unit test, debug, and maintain source code applications following functional requirements and scope of work.
Coordinate interaction with departments in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, and operations, kick-off meetings or conference calls, resource assignments, and hand-off meetings or conference calls.
Complete needs/requirements analysis and recommend efficient and justifiable solutions; interact with customers regarding business requirements.
Support system availability (tier one support) on a rotating basis.
Collaborate with other teams to identify and analyze data requirements, design data models, and define data structures.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy in all data products.
Create and maintain documentation for all data products.
Support a variety of Business Solutions from ingestions, data models, and reporting.
Can work remotely.
Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 1 year of Business Intelligence and Insights, Data Science, or related occupations/experience required. Required knowledge or experience with: Experience in SQL development against RDBMS, including queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers; Experience with ETL development using SSIS; Experience with SSAS data design and modeling, including Multidimensional (MDX) and Tabular (DAX) with Row level data security; Experience with on-premises data warehouses, particularly Oracle; Experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning; Experience with AWS Cloud services, including Athena and Airflow, and Git Source Control; Experience driving root cause analysis with cross-functional divisions; Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI; Experience using Web Methods systems integration; Experience with EDI ANSI X12 standards; Experience with IDMS, VSAM Network data sets; Experience with cloud data lakes such as Databricks; Experience with Spark and event streaming like Kafka; Data governance principles; and Data quality management.
