The Role

As a result of continued robust growth, we are seeking a Senior Business Improvement Specialist to join our team of professionals. Successful candidates are those who are confident, independent self-starters with competitive drive to support our intra-group of companies as an active member of the Business Performance Improvement Team. 

The ideal candidate will possess familiarity | verifiable experience with key concepts as per the following: 

Large scale cost reduction, savings generation initiatives EBITDA & cashflow multiplierProject Management, Planning techniquesFinancial modelling & reportingVariance AnalysisExperience working within the filters of cash | cost | volumeOKR, Key performance indicator(s) frameworkSolutions-based enabler savings | trackingBudgeting & forecastingPlanning & monitoringChange Management StructureIntegrated supply chain managementContinuous Improvement methodology & governance,Lean Manufacturing | 6-SigmaERP, TQM, JIT, MRP, TPS, OEE

Additional brief:

Partner with senior leadership to assess and prioritize business improvement initiatives in alignment with the strategic cost reduction roadmapLead business improvement initiatives, systems transformations, or revenue/savings generating projectsDevelop business processes | standards to drive sales workstreams, operational efficiencyAnalyze existing standards, metrics in order to provide solutions for improvementsPerform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate control changesCoordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop project milestones, touch points, determine fiscal requirements and resources required. Design, manage and communicate project documentation to achieve objectives, including formal chartering, corrective action plansEnsure sustained rigor for process reporting, target setting, adverse trendsPrioritize and implement business process change requirements based on the critical project needs.Coach | guide resources as neededDefining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholdersUpdate and maintain documentation on performance

Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree (BBA/Commerce preferred)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple duties concurrently Energetic communication and influencing skills across the organizationDemonstrated project management experience across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales considered an asset

Note: the organization is targeting prospective candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience though a combination of education, experience will be considered.
