Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital)is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Business Architect Production Execution laying the foundation for software development projects and solution designs for our digital Production solutions. Reporting to the Head of Digital Production Execution, you will drive and oversee the creation of architectural blueprints for Production Execution solutions, review the implementation of user stories in line with the solution design and guidelines, and support the creation of tender documents. You will also evaluate architectural changes and contribute to the further development of processes and standards within the company enhancing our differentiating digital capabilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Ensure the successful integration of technology within the company's strategic framework through a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills + Work with business analysts and business stakeholders to analyze and understand business requirements to design technical solutions that meet those needs + Be a contact person for questions on system and software architecture with regards to Production Execution (e.g. MES) + Create solution designs according to best practices in compliance with technological and strategic requirements as well as our internal Enterprise Architecture guidelines + Review the implementation of user requirements in line with the solution design and guidelines + Conceptualize and optimize the IT architecture and integration, review architectural changes and support stakeholders through the implementation + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, including, be a contact person for questions on system and software architecture or perform code quality reviews according to best practices + Present architectural designs and proposals to stakeholders and explain/ train how they address business needs + Carry out risk and problem analysis, create technical specifications and support the implementation of security measures and standards ABOUT YOU: + Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, business administration or a comparable field + Proficient in English + Minimum 5-year relevant experience as solution architect, or similar position + Advanced knowledge in SAP architecture and designs + Advanced knowledge of SAP integration tools (EDI) + Advanced knowledge of production execution and internal warehouse business processes, as well as with the customization, optimization and implementation ( SAP PPPI and WM/HU) + Deep understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices, as well as SAP best practices + Deep understanding of roles, processes and technologies around IT architecture management incl. related trends + Demonstrated success in operating in diverse teams and driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale + Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization with technical and non-technical stakeholders + Independent and self-driven personality with strong analytical skills and techniques + Exhibits a passion for digital technology and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision-making and user experiences + Embraces agile methodologies and flexible thinking to adapt to changing digital trends and business needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
