What You Can Expect

The Senior Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between IT and business operations across EMEA markets, supporting Commercial Operations. The role entails analyzing, defining, and translating complex business requirements into effective IT solutions, driving process improvements, leading small to medium-sized projects, including budget and resource management, and providing ongoing application support. The incumbent collaborates closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure that solutions align with strategic objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.

How You'll Create Impact

 

Demand Management & Process Improvement- Collaborates with Commercial Operations stakeholders to prioritize new demands, ensuring alignment with business needs. They analyze new requests or issues, providing cutting-edge IT solutions that address the identified challenges. The analyst is responsible for tracking the implementation status of all approved demands, escalating issues when necessary to prevent delays.Project Leadership- Lead small to medium IT projects, managing scope, budgeting, scheduling, resources, communication, and reporting. Create project plans with tasks, milestones, timelines, dependencies. Coordinate with external consultants and vendors as needed. Ensure user acceptance testing, training, and smooth transition to operations for all changes. Oversee project execution using global PMO standards (e.g., PlanView) supporting and facilitating stage gate reviews and delivering comprehensive status reports.Solution Design & Application Governance- Understand and map IT application functions, compare functionalities across current and future applications, and develop IT application strategies aligned with global standards. Support security enforcement and monitor system performance to ensure operational excellence.Support & Continuous Improvement- Support incident, service request when escalated and change management activities, facilitate workshops and cross-functional meetings (in English and German), and identify opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation initiatives. Is available for emergency support as needed.Regulatory & Compliance- Support validation activities and ensure documentation complies with industry and corporate standards, secure systems are maintained in a validated state consistent with legal (e.g., FDA, SOX) and compliance requirements particularly regarding medical device regulations such as UDI.What Makes You Stand Out

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.8-10 years of relevant work experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.

Professional Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in a Business Analyst or BRM role supporting Commercial Operations.In-depth knowledge of SAP SD, including pricing, ATP, order management, consignment management, Condition technique, batch management, Stock Transport Orders, SD interface with MM and FI and delivery processes.Experience with myMEDISET solution in a commercial or logistics setting is preferred.Familiarity with regulated industry standards, such as pharmaceutical or medical devices sectors.Strong project management skills: PMP certification is a plus.Experience managing remote teams and collaborating in multi-site/global environments.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to facilitate change and persuade stakeholders at all levels.Flexible and willing to learn about various business areas.

 

Technical & Domain Knowledge:

SAP user interface, customization, and integration knowledge.Basic understanding of EDI/SAP/HIPAA integrations, including EDIFACT messages (ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC, etc.).General understanding of automation tools like Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, or similar.Awareness of legal requirements and corporate guidelines concerning electronic data records

Language:

Fluent in English.High level in German (minimum B2).Travel Expectations

 

Approximately 20-25% travel within the EMEA region.
