Senior Business Analyst
The Sr Business Analyst offers a dynamic opportunity to lead strategic and technical initiatives across local and regional Business Units. Through diverse project exposure and cross-functional collaboration, they will gain valuable experience, broaden their leadership capabilities, and make a meaningful impact. **Position Responsibilities:** + Manage a team of Business Analysts and support/coach BAs as necessary in their project deployment + Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analysis to support process and project improvements + Works with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects + Provides effective and regular communication within the project team, direct reports, leaders and other stakeholders + Assess and manages risks that impede successful project delivery + Improves existing delivery methods and identifies potential areas for improvement + Communicates clearly to all stakeholders involved + Has positive impact to specific organizational entities & has some understanding of the nature of the impact + Works with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects + Participates in negotiation of contract terms and conditions and insures compliance with contract terms for project consultants and vendors + Responsible for assisting in hiring staff, and developing motivating, coaching, advising and managing the team + May manage the technical components of the project or act as manager of personnel, including evaluating personnel **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Financial / Investments, Legal Management degree holder or other relevant post-secondary education preferred. + At least 3 years of BA or consultant experience with Information Technology, Financial Services or Middle and Back office operations enabling integrated solutions to optimize processes, technology, data etc. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (including Visio, Project) + Experience in Agile Methodology is an advantage + Able to work in different shift schedules **Preferred Qualifications:** + Quick to adapt with proven experience learning new products, technologies and tools + Thorough knowledge of analysis with regards to information gathering, requirements writing, UAT testing etc. + Ability to identify and pursue continuous improvements + Excellent negotiating skills and an ability to manage inter-departmental work relationships. + Strong influencing skills with ability to make sound recommendations + Previous experience in the financial services, wealth management or insurance industry + Must pass current job expectations and meet performance metrics. **_When you join our team:_** + We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. + We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. + As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. **Acerca de Manulife y John Hancock** Manulife Financial Corporation es un importante proveedor internacional de servicios financieros que ayuda a las personas a tomar decisiones de una manera más fácil y a vivir mejor.
