**Purpose**
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Technology Enterprise Platform (GTEP) Strategic Portfolio Office – Resource Management team globally by supporting the Senior Manager, Resource Management on all resourcing activities for projects and initiatives across the GTEP group, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include providing support in the hiring of FTEs and contractors, including intake and system access for resources, reviewing and execution of contractor engagements, and support for hiring managers during the recruitment and onboarding process.
**Accountabilities**
+ Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

+ Manage contract inquiries, intake, validation and execution through the Ariba (Contract Management System) and Fieldglass tools.
+ Maintain expert understanding of system functionality and tools utilized for contract administration by active participation in any ongoing training offered by the Contingent Workforce Management/Allegis team.
+ Proactively identify and send reminders to Hiring Managers about upcoming expiry/renewal dates for contracts and provide guidance on process to mitigate risk of access loss.
+ Support the Manager and Senior Manager, Resource Management with the monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc consolidation, reporting and reconciliation of resourcing data using various tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc..
+ Review, validate and process resourcing invoices, and ensure that contract/purchase order (PO) closures are complete.
+ Contribute to process improvements and optimization by working with the Manager and Senior Manager, Resource Management to identify opportunities for change.
+ Act as a valuable partner to our internal stakeholders by providing best-in-class customer service.
+ Provide training/cross training of fellow employees and foster a continuous learning mindset.

+ Indirect oversight of annual resourcing budgets (e.g., contractor costs, FTE costs, etc.).
**Education**
+ Qualifications & Experience:
+ A post-secondary education in a relevant area or equivalent experience required
+ Customer-focused ability to work in a fast-paced environment with volumes dictated by customer needs
+ Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver a positive employee experience
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
+ Open and receptive to feedback, with a degree of flexibility/adaptability to change
+ Ability to manage own time effectively, along with ability to prioritize and organize incoming work
+ Experience with vendor invoicing considered an asset
+ Appetite to dive deeper into data and attention to details an asset
+ Nice To Have:
+ FI/Banking Experience
+ HR/Resource Management experience
+ Experience working with contract management tools (Ariba/CMS and Fieldglass preferred)
+ Previous Scotiabank Experience
+ Working experience with external vendors
+ Bilingual English/Spanish language skills (B2 English level)
**Working Conditions**
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
