Job SummarySenior Business Analyst – Factory Applications

In Hungary Flex operates in 7 cities – Budapest, Gyál, Üllő, Nyíregyháza, Sárvár, Tab, Zalaegerszeg – with around 10 000 employees.
The Factory Applications team, part of Flex’s corporate IT organization, is a global group of approximately 80 professionals. This team develops and manages Flex’s proprietary shop floor control systems, deployed across 100 manufacturing sites and operating over 1,000+ instances.
We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to our Budapest team to help define and maintain medical compliant software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and documentation for our applications. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to work with a highly motivated global team on a strategic initiative.
What a typical day looks like
Serve as the primary point of contact for Factory Applications products related to medical processes and tasksCoordinate product and project lifecycle activities in alignment with medical compliance requirements, collaborating closely with product teamsLead the collection and definition of medical-related business and technical requirementsDevelop, implement, and monitor policies and controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards for medical projectsCollaborate with Solution Managers, Delivery Management, Global Implementations, and Enterprise Architecture during initial project assessmentsLiaise with departments such as Core Solutions, Global Implementations, Corporate Quality, and Operations to validate and communicate requirements effectivelyOversee cross-functional activities to ensure all commitments critical to medical software compliance are fulfilledEnsure thorough testing and acceptance of solutions with internal teams, business stakeholders, and medical partnersMonitor projects and tasks in progress related to Factory Applications software in medical contextsTrack and drive key action items and maintain comprehensive documentationCreate and manage relevant materials, including playbooks and verification/validation documents for medical applicationsThe experience we’re looking to add to our team
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific disciplineMinimum 3-5 years of experience with software engineering, software development, or IT project managementFamiliarity with medical manufacturing environments and related IT systemsPractical experience working with DevOps processes and toolsDemonstrated ability to build trust and introduce best practices across global, multicultural teams within enterprise settingsSkilled at quickly understanding, mapping, and documenting business processes and user-facing documentationGreat communication skills, both verbal and written (English)Here are a few examples of what you’ll get for the great work you provide
