If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:The Senior Bioinformatician, Flow Cytometry provides advanced technical expertise to develop, implement, and maintain scalable analytical and software solutions supporting high‑dimensional flow cytometry data analysis for internal and external stakeholders.What You'll Be Doing:Evaluate and optimize the computational efficiency of large‑scale scientific computing systems supporting high‑dimensional flow cytometry data analysisDefine requirements to manage and maintain analytical infrastructure, including software updates and hardware refreshes, to ensure reliable and scalable workflowsDesign, develop, and implement algorithmic and software‑based solutions for automated gating, quality control, and flow cytometry data processingIntegrate new analytical technologies into existing bioinformatics pipelines and validate analytical methods in regulated environmentsScope, estimate, and execute analytical and development activities in support of internal flow cytometry projectsPrepare technical documentation including analysis plans, specifications, and validation documentationLead department‑level and cross‑functional initiatives, coordinating resources and providing technical mentorship and training to staffWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, statistics, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field; or a Master’s degree with relevant experience; or a PhD or equivalent advanced degreeStrong experience developing analytical solutions using Python and/or R for scientific or bioinformatics applicationsExperience working in Linux or UNIX‑based environments, including scripting, system interfaces, and computational infrastructureOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Advanced understanding of algorithm development and statistical methods applied to biological or high‑dimensional dataAbility to manage multiple complex projects independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional scientific teamsStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailWhat We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $80,200.00 - $167,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
