Senior BIM Technician-Revit (MEP)
**Roles & Responsibility:** 8 You will be working and supporting a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering BIM models and drawings under the relevant standards  You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and be active on several projects at any given time.  You will be contributing to all types of projects.  You will be using Revit, ACC, MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, iTwin and other engineering BIM software for the production and development of models and drawings.  You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual  You will take responsibility for your own personal development with the support of the line manager and follow an agreed development plan.  You will assist in the development of others in the team. Technical Experience  Ability to utilise Revit, BIM 360/ACC, MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuilding, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, iTwin in adherence to defined CAD & BIM standards to develop 3D modelling, layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.  Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.  Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings.  Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.  Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.  Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD & BIM standards and procedures.  Undertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD output.  UK /Internation Rail project experience and working knowledge of UK/International design standards.  You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as ISO 19650, Uniclass 2015 etc.,  You should be able to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on Rail engineering projects and possessing an appropriate overall level of knowledge of the UK / International infrastructure design sector.  Proficient in the use of standard oƯice software.  Experience in supervising and coordinating the CAD output of others within a multidisciplinary project environment.  Commitment to work as part of a design team focused on project delivery.  Good understanding and knowledge of Multi-Discipline Rail Projects  Good written and verbal communication skills.
