Skills and Requirements Proven experience as a Backend Java Developer, with a strong focus on API development and Spring Boot. Proficiency in Java programming and a deep understanding of object-oriented principles. Experience with Kafka and building real-time data processing systems. Familiarity with microservices architecture and implementation. The team is moving from monolithic to microservices architecture. Experience working in a cloud environment. General understanding of an OpenShift environment. Experience working in an Agile environment. Plusses: Previous Financial Experience Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Create and manage APIs to support various front-end and mobile applications. Implement and maintain messaging systems using Kafka batch processing.
