Job Description The Software Engineer Backend and Data, part of the Research and Development team, is responsible for designing and building backend components for cloud-based applications, with a focus on next-generation EHR solutions. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and deliver customer-centric features on a set timeline. Key responsibilities include backend development for full-stack applications, architectural design participation, writing and optimizing T-SQL stored procedures, implementing secure programming principles, and developing efficient data indexing and segmentation strategies. The engineer will also review code, ensure optimized data handling across teams, apply design patterns, and explore innovative technologies to enhance performance and security. The position requires active involvement in meetings, documentation, and communication, all within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering   Total Experience 4+ years as a software engineer.   Experience in writing stored procedures using T-SQL for MS SQL   Experience in Database Query optimization, Data indexing and partitioning, Database Design and performance fine tuning.   Some experience writing queries for ETL tools and Change tracking.   Expert Knowledge of SQL Server profiler and query plans   Experience tuning and troubleshooting large enterprise databases Experience with Java null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
