Building X
We are looking for senior back-end developer to help with integration of Tridium Niagara IoT devices with Building X – suite of cloud applications used by our customers to operate buildings. In this role you will be primarily responsible for implementation of modules synchronizing building devices with our cloud infrastructure and applications. Devices communicate mainly via BACNet / Modbus protocols, while Building X components use RESTful APIs together with event driven architecture. If you join us, you will be part of multi-national team located in Switzerland, Slovakia and other locations.
We expect
Experience working in a complex environment, working with multinational teams across the world. Strong understanding of software development concepts, programming languages, web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms and developer tools. Experience with RESTful APIs and MQTT. Strong proficiency in Java and Gradle (KTS), with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG. CI/CD knowledge, preferably with GitLab. Experience with AWS technologies including Terraform, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway. Familiarity with Angular and Cypress (JavaScript). Exposure to GoLang is a plus. Ownership attitude and responsibility for end-to-end feature development and maintenance. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and engage with developers and cross-functional teams. Open-minded, people- and service-oriented. Able to establish partnerships, collaborate with external organizations, and represent the organization positively in the developer community. Desire to learn about state-of-the-art technologies, methodologies, and cloud platforms. A genuine passion for technology, innovation, and the developer community. Proficiency in Java 8. Experience with the Tridium Niagara Framework and/or Niagara Certification or willingness to obtain it. Domain understanding of building automation, field protocols, or a willingness to learn. Willingness to test on physical devices. Desirable (but not required): experience with VTL (Velocity Templates), Bash scripting, and containerization technologies.Language Requirements:
