This position requires deep expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture with a focus on building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms using Terraform and Azure’s Data & AI services.

You will architect and implement cloud solutions that power next-generation AI and data applications as part of the ai:attack offering of the Siemens Data & AI Cloud (SDC), advise internal teams across Siemens, and ensure reliable operations through automation and best practices.

Your success is grounded in

Education: A university degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related fieldExperience & Skills5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture and Terraform-based infrastructure deploymentStrong knowledge of Azure PaaS services, networking (VNet, subnets, VPNs), and security (e.g. IAM, data protection, WAF)Demonstrated experience with Azure’s Data & AI tools—Azure Machine Learning, Synapse Analytics, OpenAI, and Data FactoryProficiency in scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell, or PythonExperience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) and MLOps workflowsFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, AKS)A collaborative mindset, ability to work across international teams, and strong communication skillsLanguages: Fluency in English, both written and spokenNice to have: Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer) and experience with cost management and performance tuning of cloud environments.
