**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior AWS Network Engineer** to join our team in **Virginia Beach, VA.** This is a **remote** position. The Senior AWS Network Engineer will be supporting an ambitious endeavor to reimagine how our customer, Naval Sea Systems, provides AWS cloud services to its customers. This includes a reimagining of the traditional network stack with a cloud native approach. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable network architectures within AWS, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security group + Configure and maintain AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) + Implement and enforce network security best practices, including firewall rules, NACLs, and compliance with industry standards + Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability + Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and opentofu for network provisioning and management + Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and resolve networking-related challenges + Stay current with the latest AWS services and networking trends to recommend and implement new technologies **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of networking experience; an additional 4 years of networking experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree. + Cisco Certified Network Associate-level knowledge + Hold a current DoD Security+​ CE certification + AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification + Proven expertise with core AWS networking services (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, AWS VPN) + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and/or opentofu **Preferred Qualifications** : + AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification + Familiarity with container networking (e.g., Kubernetes, Amazon EKS) + Knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocols + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies **Clearance Requirements:** + US Citizenship required and active Secret clearance **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations + Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
