Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking a **Senior Automation Tester / Programmer** with **5–7 years of experience in test automation** to support large-scale implementation projects for a **complex payments hub application**. The ideal candidate will be capable of identifying test cases suitable for automation, designing robust automation frameworks, and planning and scheduling automated test execution.
Hands-on experience with **Selenium and/or Robot Framework** is mandatory. Knowledge of **Python** and basic performance testing concepts is a strong advantage.
Design, develop, and maintain **automated test suites** for a complex payments hub application
* Analyze and understand **business and functional requirements** captured in specifications
* Identify **automation candidates** and define automation strategy and coverage
* Produce **robust, reusable, and maintainable** test scripts
* Perform **code reviews** for automation test scripts and ensure adherence to best practices
* Plan, schedule, and execute automated test runs
* Analyze test results, identify defects, and support defect triage
* Gain and maintain a strong understanding of the **CGI Payment Hub product**
* Collaborate closely with functional, development, and DevOps teams
Must-Have Skills:
General / Functional Skills
* **5–7 years** of hands-on experience in **test automation**
* Strong experience with:
* **Selenium and/or Robot Framework** (mandatory)
* **Keyword-driven test automation** concepts
* Good understanding of **test automation best practices** and framework design
* Experience working with **JIRA**; **XRay** exposure is desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in **Agile delivery environments**
Good-to-Have Skills:
* **Python programming** knowledge
* Basic understanding of **performance testing** concepts and tools
* Exposure to **payments or banking systems**
* Experience testing large-scale, enterprise applications
