Are you a self-motivated and intellectually curious person? As a Senior Auditor within the PGIM audit group, you will work with other team members to deploy our audit approach across our asset management business, with a focus on equities and fixed income asset classes (is this finalized?). You will play a key role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure compliance, identify operational efficiencies, and support strategic initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to influence our approach as well as lead and perform audits. You will also be able to develop and contribute to the advancement of the team.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid with an expectation of three days per week in the office. Occasional travel (approximately 10–15%) may be required to support audit fieldwork, stakeholder engagement, and on-site assessments across domestic and international locations. What you can expect:

Leading and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business units.

Developing audit plans, scopes, and testing procedures based on risk assessments.

Preparing clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.

Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation of audit findings.

Supporting the annual risk assessment and audit planning process.

Mentoring junior auditors and contributing to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.


What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal or external audit.

Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

High level of integrity and professionalism.


It’d be a plus if you had:

Prior experience in the asset management industry, including real estate, private and public fixed income, equities, and mutual funds.

Big 4 accounting firm experience.

CPA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification (or progress toward certification).

Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL, Advanced Excel).

Exposure to SOX compliance or public company audit environments.

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare).

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $99,700.00 to $148,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
