We’re looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our high performing Corporate Audit Services team.

You’ll be responsible for performing specific audit assignments across all ING Australia operations including detailed audit planning, risk assessment and test of design and operating effectiveness of controls.  You’ll create and promote a positive working relationship across all facets of the ING Australia’s business by identifying and negotiating implementation of clear, robust and effective controls that address significant risk / control deficiencies.


What you’ll do

Lead, supervise and perform specific audit assignment across all departments at ING Australia Detail audit planning, risk assessment and test of design and operating effectiveness of controlsProvide input to the annual audit plan, ensuring significant risks across the business are successfully incorporatedEnsure each auditable area is appropriately scoped and key risks identifiedReview audit work papers ensuring quality and depth of testing; ensuring Audit fieldwork is executed according to CAS Bank methodologyRaise audit issues on control weaknesses and non-compliance with policies and regulationsCreate a data dashboard that highlights increased areas of potential risk across key business activities

What we’re looking for

Appropriate Internal Audit, Risk Management post-graduate qualification e.g. Chartered Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor.Specific relevant Audit or business expertise within a banking environment. Experience from a Compliance and Risk Background is essential to be successful.Highly developed and proven Audit skills with exceptional relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills at all levelsAn understanding of risks and controls applicable to financial services organisationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional analytical skills, interpersonal skills; you’ll be both methodical and detailedThe ability to self-motivate and is able to work under pressure with a strong desire to foster partnerships and teamwork
