Your Responsibilities + Develop and implement comprehensive audience segmentation strategies to optimize email and digital marketing performance. + Conduct in-depth analysis of customer demographics, behaviors, and preferences to inform targeting strategies. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and digital, to align segmentation with campaign goals. + Serve as the technical lead for campaign development and audience selection, ensuring flawless execution. + Maintain and manage the audience database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. + Investigate and resolve data issues in partnership with IT and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). + Document campaign procedures, business rules, and maintain archives of historical segmentation logic. + Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. + Support and cross-train team members on segmentation tools and processes. Your Experience, Skills & Competencies + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (required). + Minimum 5 years of experience working with data warehouses and 3 years in audience segmentation and data querying. + Proficiency in SQL, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. + Experience with Amperity CDP platform and marketing automation/CRM systems is a plus. + Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Hospitality or travel industry experience is a plus. Your Team This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Marketing Automation and Enablement. You will collaborate regularly with cross-functional departments including IT, digital, and campaign strategy teams. Your Work Location As our Senior Audience Segmentation and Data Analyst, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
