**Job Description**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate in Urban Design to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our urban planning and design practice, you will lead innovative projects that shape the future of cities in the region and beyond.
+ Spearhead urban design projects from concept development to implementation, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client needs and sustainability goals
+ Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and creativity throughout the design process
+ Develop comprehensive urban design strategies, master plans, and detailed design guidelines for a variety of project scales
+ Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and urban context assessments to inform design decisions
+ Create compelling visual presentations, including 2D and 3D renderings, to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
+ Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in urban design and smart city development
+ Collaborate with local authorities, developers, and community stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regulations and cultural considerations
+ Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal writing and client presentations
**Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
+ Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in urban design or a related discipline
+ Professional certification in urban planning or design (e.g., AICP, CNU-A) is preferred
+ Advanced proficiency in urban design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and ArcGIS
+ Strong visual communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and graphics
+ Excellent project management capabilities, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
+ Proven track record of successful urban design projects, preferably including work in the Middle East
+ In-depth knowledge of sustainable urban development practices and smart city concepts
+ Understanding of local and international urban design regulations and standards
+ Familiarity with Middle Eastern urban design principles and cultural considerations
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
+ Innovative mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex urban challenges
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
+ Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related work
