A leading UK firm is looking for a Senior Lawyer to join their team in the North-West. This is an opportunity to work on some of the country’s most significant and high-value construction and infrastructure projects, including landmark logistics developments, major data centres, and prime office buildings. You will collaborate with a diverse client base some of Europe’s top real estate funds and provide expert advice on non-contentious matters.
What You'll Do:
As a Senior / Principal Construction Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering first-class legal services on some of the UK’s most ambitious construction projects. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
Advising on non-contentious construction matters across a range of sectors including logistics, real estate, infrastructure, process plant contracts, and property finance. Managing relationships with key clients such as investors, developers, landlords, and real estate funds by acting as their trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of major projects. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard forms of construction contracts (including JCT and NEC), development agreements, remediation contracts, and associated documentation. Supervising junior associates and trainees within the national team by offering guidance on technical issues and supporting their professional development.What You Bring:
Your background as a Senior / Principal Construction Associate will ideally include:
4+ PQE advising on non-contentious construction matters within private practice or industry settings. Proven track record drafting and negotiating standard forms of construction contracts (JCT/NEC) as well as development agreements and process plant documentation. Strong understanding of real estate support work including acquisitions/disposals, property finance transactions, and infrastructure project delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with clients ranging from institutional investors to developers and public authorities.The Company:
