Position Overview:
The Senior Associate will work closely with firm leadership and client stakeholders to conduct deep financial analysis and due diligence on target companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong audit background—preferably with experience at a top-tier public accounting firm—who are passionate about deal advisory and financial analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial statements and assess earnings quality, cash flows, financial condition, and key risks.
+ Lead financial analyses to evaluate profitability, working capital, and other transaction-related metrics.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong communication with both Associates and senior associates' members.
+ Develop client deliverables in Excel and PowerPoint with a high degree of clarity, accuracy, and visual impact.
+ Manage multiple engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Contribute insights that help "tell the story" behind the numbers.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in audit or financial due diligence; candidates with backgrounds at large national or international accounting firms are highly encouraged to apply.
+ CPA designation (active or inactive); additional credentials such as CFA or advanced degrees are a plus.
+ Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Alteryx is highly desirable.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact confidently with client executives and internal leadership.
