Salary: Highly Competitive + Excellent Benefits A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its well-established Leasehold Enfranchisement team in London. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within a specialist practice acting for a wide range of clients including individual leaseholders, large estates, developers, institutional landlords, universities, and public sector bodies. The Role You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team that sits within the firm's national Real Estate group. The work is intellectually stimulating and varied, with a strong mix of both transactional and advisory matters. You'll handle a full range of leasehold enfranchisement work, including: Statutory lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform Acts 1967 and 1993 Collective enfranchisement and freehold acquisitions Right to Manage applications under the 2002 Act Right of First Refusal under the 1987 Act Voluntary lease extensions and deeds of variation Ground rent investments and portfolio transactions Supporting wider real estate projects where enfranchisement issues arise Involvement in tribunal and court proceedings Cross-department collaboration with Residential Property, Real Estate Disputes, Private Client, and Family teams You'll also have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and networking events, including those hosted by ALEP, to further build your profile and expand your professional network. About You We are keen to speak with candidates who: Have 2-5 years' PQE in leasehold enfranchisement or residential real estate Have strong technical expertise in the relevant legislation and process Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Are proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working both independently and as part of a team Demonstrate commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business development Are client-focused, organised, and able to manage competing priorities This role offers a clear path for career development within a highly respected practice area.
