Role: Senior Associate – General Corporate

About the Opportunity:
We are hiring for our client, a leading full-service law firm with a strong legacy and pan-India presence, seeking a Senior Associate to join its General Corporate practice in Mumbai. The role offers exposure to complex transactional work in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and corporate agreements

Support partners on M&A, PE, corporate advisory, and allied matters

Conduct legal due diligence for transactions

Undertake legal research on corporate, commercial, and real estate laws

Coordinate with internal teams and clients on transaction documentation

Ensure timely execution and delivery of assigned tasks

Manage deal-related workflows and assist in team coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications:

LL.B. or equivalent degree from a reputed law school

4–5 years of relevant experience in General Corporate practice

Prior experience in M&A and PE transactions

Strong drafting, negotiation, and research skills

Sound understanding of corporate, commercial, and real estate laws

Excellent written and spoken English

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
