Role Definition
Creates, implements and improves engineering designs, processes, techniques, tooling and machinery for Improved Fabrication at Shop to meet customer requirements and maximize product quality
Responsibilities
• Creating new designs and resolves issues regarding the manufacturing or building sequences. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make the product or process more reliable, efficient and cost-effective.
• Collaborating with all functional areas, (Engineering, purchasing, manufacturing) to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the customer.
• Requires a degree in Mechanical or related Engineering fields.
Degree Requirement - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering from accredited Engineering Institute.

Well versed with piping engineering drawings and steel structural drawings.Ability to split the large structures into respective kit, based on the functionality and assembly practice into sub-assemblies and final assembly kits.Ability to create spool length calculations, SWE calculations, production cards,Creating manufacturing supporting documents like routers, fabops routers, NC files, stp files, dxf files.Knowledge of BOM and MTOKnowledge of structural Codes & Standards such as ASCE 7-16 and Structural Welding Code AWS D1.1Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
