We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Associate- Account Manager (Meals) to drive growth and deepen strategic partnerships with Global CPG clients. This is a high-impact role with significant career growth potential, ideal for a results-driven professional passionate about food innovation and customer success.
This role must be based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area (within a 60-mile radius).
Key responsibilities Lead A Strategic Account: Manage and grow relationships within a key Meals client Drive Sales Growth: Prospect and close new business opportunities across taste, seasonings, dairy, stocks & broths, smoke, and more. Deliver Value: Use creativity and value proposition selling to expand existing platforms and unlock new categories. Plan & Execute: Conduct account planning and research to optimize penetration and performance. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams for a seamless go-to-market strategy and execution. Stay Ahead: Monitor market dynamics and inform leadership of strategic shifts. Own the Numbers: Ensure margin growth and profitability aligned with account plans and budgets. Stay Organized: Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and document activities in Salesforce. Qualifications and skills Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Culinary or Food Science degree preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, account management, or consulting within the food industry Demonstrated ability to think strategically and cross-functionally, blending sales and consulting expertise Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently Exceptional communication skills—positive, articulate, and persuasive Strong business acumen and commercial awareness Proven track record of delivering sustained year-over-year growth Experience in strategy development and execution Ability to craft and communicate a compelling value proposition Focused on top-line growth and customer success Builds trust and inspires confidence in senior-level customer engagements Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Salesforce and a solid understanding of supply chain operations
The typical hiring range for this role is $75,602 to $123,432.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
