About the Role
Responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure that software meets specified standards and end user requirements.Job Scope:
As Adobe Analytics (AA) tagging UAT tester, your responsibilities will include:
1. Data Validation:
- Verify the below 3 criteria for each tag, testing both page load and event-triggered tags to ensure accuracy of data transmitted to Adobe Analytics:
Adobe Analytics tags are present and firing as expected.
All analytics variables are set.
Variables values are set and in the right format.
- Utilize debugger tools such as Adobe Assurance, Adobe Experience Platform debugger to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data transmission.
2. Issues Documentation:
- Document identified issues related to AA tagging using tagging plans provided by Digital Insights team.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of identified problems for reference and resolution tracking.
3. User Journey Testing:
- Able to learn and familiarize various user journeys across multiple applications (website and mobile app) in acceptable timeline given
- Comfortably execute testing procedures on different user journeys to validate data accuracy and adherence to tagging plans.
4. Collaboration with Developers:
- Collaborate closely with developers to address and resolve tagging issues discovered during the UAT phase.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding identified problems and collaborate on effective solutions.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in digital, ecommerce, web/app development, digital marketing, digital analytics, or related field
Experience working with digital tag management solutions such Adobe Data Collection (Adobe Launch) will be a plus
Experience in data tagging user acceptance testing (UAT)
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to document issues comprehensively
Excellent written and communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance working on multiple projects.
Experience working with Adobe Assurance will be a plus
Experience working with React JS, React Native and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) will be a plus
